We opened our doors May of 1974 because one of the founders family members was in a wheelchair. In trying to get a Handicap Van to allow them to regain some mobility, we found the market in Georgia left little in the way of choices.

The number of Handicap Van manufactures in Georgia was zero. The number of manufacturers that build handicap vans with wheelchair ramps was also zero. And the selection of handicap vans with wheelchair lifts was very slim. Basically, handicapped persons had very limited mobility because of this. So out of necessity we started our own Handicap Van facility out of a garage in our back yard. To the right is one of our original pictures of the first R & R Vans and Lifts shop. We Became the first Mobility Dealer in Georgia. We later became an authorized deal for other manufacturers such as :

As with any company that does it right, the public beat a path to our door and we found ourselves once again outgrowing our 2nd shop and also needing more space to meet the need to diversify our equipment and services to meet the growing need for handicap vans, wheelchair lifts, but also scooters and other mobility equipment Therefore we moved to our third storefront, closing the second one. The new store is pictured below. It is much more customer friendly than the previous two stores as they were primarily manufacturing sites with a small customer space.

We now have grown to 3 "Sales and Service" locations in North Georgia and now have one of the largest inventories of wheelchair accessible vans in the Southeast, including new and used handicap vans.

And once again, to meet the needs of the the handicapped population, we now have rental available of handicap vans, Wheelchair lift equipped vans, and wheel chair ramp equipped vans.

We also welcome handicap van trade-ins as well as this allows us to refurbish and resell used handicap vans. Most dealers could not do this, but because we have technicians with a combined service experience of over 100 years, we can thoroughly inspect and repair used vehicles and put back out with confidence.
