Interior, Comfort, and Cargo
The Ford Transit flaunts a sleek and modern design inspired by the Ford Explorer, making it stylish as it is comfortable. You can also choose from a variety of roof heights and base lengths to match your specific needs. It can originally accommodate up to 15 people and has aisle seating that makes it convenient for passengers to sit in the back.
One of the key features of our conversion is our three-position bucket seat sofa with integrated seatbelts. You can utilize this as a sofa bed, or you may also recline each seat individually. The sofa also slides forward and rearward, which allows for additional cargo space. We also included a Ricon slide-away lift and interlock system, which permits an easy pass-through entry and exit. As a bonus, there’s also a LED stepwell light that offers extra visibility when lifting your loved one into the vehicle. Moreover, it comes with a fully-adjustable Q’Straint lap and shoulder belt system with four oval pockets and manual straps to safely secure your wheelchair.
Furthermore, while the Ford Transit already has an interior that protects the passenger from traffic noise, we also fully insulate the ceiling and sidewalls to maximize noise reduction. At the same time, this also maintains a stable temperature throughout the cabin. We also install stain-resistant carpeting and ultra-commercial grade flooring in our reinforced steel flooring design, which is durable, easy to clean, and perfect for maneuvering a wheelchair
